Nationally Recognised Project Management Qualifications

Who should do this course?

This course is suitable for a wide range of people who are involved in some form of project work. It is designed to provide a thorough overview of the project management process, thus assisting both people who are relatively new to project work and those who have had project team experience. We have had a range of people undertake this course including on-site supervisors, teachers, administration staff, managers, regional and local council staff and trainers. Virtually all industries can benefit greatly from having a strong understanding of how to practically implement a project.

How is it trained?

We offer this course through our Workshop Program. The entire course can take from a few weeks to 6 months, depending on the experience of the participants. Initially we run a 3 day face to face workshop. This workshop can be 3 days in a row, or spread out over time, such as one day every fortnight for 6 weeks. Within the workshop we train you in the core fields within project management (detailed below) and complete a simple sample project to utilise the skills and knowledge gained in class. From there participants select their own project and complete it using the concepts and skills learned in the workshop. Participants submit this as part of their final assessment. We usually provide 3 to 6 months for the project to be completed depending on the project size and organisational needs.

This Nationally Recognised Qualification takes the Certificate IV in PMP knowledge and expands it to a level where you develop skills to run a project as a Project Manager (up to Medium size projects).
